BOTANICAL BEDROOM
My clients needed to refresh their master bedroom as it hadn't been updated in a long time. I took inspiration from nature as they are surrounded by countryside and chose a palette of greens and blues and selected accessories featuring leaves, birds, butterflies and bees.
TROPICAL LIVING ROOM
When my client approached me she said her room had not been used for quite some time and had become a bit of a dumping ground. Apart from the original parquet flooring, the rest of the room was a completely blank slate. I created a jungle inspired scheme with a vibrant mix of exotic patterns, luxurious textures and bold colours.
VICTORIAN SITTING ROOM
The previous owners of my client's house had been using it as a B&B so they wanted to make it feel and function like a home again. They were also keen on bringing back some character and enhancing the original features.
I chose a palette of heritage colours, selected timeless pieces and took inspiration from nature for the fabrics and textures as their house is surrounded by countryside. I completely revised the room layout so that it is now practical for modern everyday living and added colourful accessories and quirky prints to add character and reflect my client's personality.
ART DECO BEDROOM
I altered the layout of the room in order to create the illusion of extra space and added lots of pieces with reflective surfaces to bounce light around the room. Jewel tones, geometric patterns and art deco touches give this bedroom a glamorous and contemporary feel.
COUNTRY STYLE LIVING
For my client's open plan kitchen, I designed a layout that includes two zones; a snug area to relax and watch TV and a separate seating area opposite a log burner where she can sit and look out onto her garden. These two areas are separated by a large, bespoke sideboard which acts as a room divider.
For her dining room, which had been a completely disused room, I created a decorative scheme to complement her existing furniture and selected lighting, wallpaper and fabric to make the room feel warm and cosy so she would actually want to spend time in there with her family.
NEW BUILD HOUSE
My client had just purchased a new build and needed help with planning out the rooms before moving in. She wanted the designs to work with her existing furniture so I helped her figure out where everything would work best as well as creating colour schemes for each room, choosing fabrics for curtains and blinds and selecting flooring, carpet and tiles. I also helped her pick out some new dining chairs.
